So I'm completely at one of those stages we so often come to when we hate everything we own and getting dressed for the day becomes extended into this drama that inevitably has to happen.
I want to be able to throw on some skinnes and fur, chuck on some brogues and be out the door. But it's -7 outside and there's still snow on the ground.
Why do we always do this to ourselves? Hate everything one minute and then manage to rummage around and pull out some real gems the next?
I seriously need more "gem" day's at the moment.
When I'm lacking inspiration the most the two things i do are look at the blogs that inspire. And then watch a scene from 90210. This sounds a bit odd, but i always sort of fall in love with what "Annie" Shenae Grimes is wearing. This some how makes me feel better and i then proceed to imitate her outfit.
We all have our own different solutions.
I always find it lethal to shop when I'm in such a mood, i tend to blow everything i have on material items i seem to think will make me feel better. However, watching early episodes of That 70's Show, cuddling up with my boy and drinking from my Marmite mug are also doing a good job of bringing a smile to my face.
Saying this (and having a hypercritical moment that we all have) I'm off to the city to see what the Boxing day sales have to offer.
I hope you all had a lovely day.
